A series of two cross-stitched tablecloths put to use during the Christmas holidays of 2017.
The first one was made by my grandmother in the eighties and repurposed by me with 7 bees, based on a pattern found in a French magazine I inherited from her. I highlight the coexistence of domestic care and domestic violence in the same space with the metaphor of the bee: the ability to produce a delicacy while simultaneously creating a poison.
